The Saskatoon Crisis Nursery is a haven for children whose family is experiencing a time of crisis. This organization provides stability and safety for families 24/7 365 days a year and is always in need of a variety of donations. I have been in contact with the program director and have decided to organize a mini-fundraiser. Here are a few things that the Crisis Nursery needs:
· Diapers/wipes –ALL sizes (most in need of size 5/6)
· Children’s toys & books (ages 0-12yr)
· Children’s clothes -gently used or new (age NB- 12yr)
· Gift cards for Sobeys or Superstore
· Gift cards for children’s outings:
o Movies
o Bowling
o Mini golf
o Ruckers
o Swimming
o Other suitable children’s activities
· Money donations:
o Checks made out to the “Crisis Nursery”
o Online donations can also be made here on their website
If you are able to donate any of the above items I will gladly come and pick them up whenever suits you best. I am hoping to have all items collected by February 29th so I can deliver them the first week in March.
