Little red rowyn
Rowyn’s name in Gaelic means ‘little red’, so I love dressing her in red!
Rowyn’s jacket was a great find from the second hand instagram page Kids Closet YXE. My red jacket was free -stolen from my sister’s closet, originally from Primark!
sage Cardis
Here is another Beau Hudson cardi! I honestly can’t get enough of these -I think we have 6 or 7 different colors. I ordered this one in a size up (small for reference) and I like the fit a lot better. I would recommend sizing up for a more cozy feel. I love these because they’re so versatile, they work for playdates or any school/work outfit!
Summer time vibes
Simple white tied tees, jean shorts and white adidas.
Rowyn’s top and jeans are from Once Upon A Child (I think it totaled $5) and her runners are from Marshalls. My top is from Marshals and the best high waisted jeans ever are levis from Aritzia!
Tie dye sky
I was skeptical about the tie dye trend when it first started, but now I could not be more on board!
My sweater is by some local makers however, we’ve been making our own and are having so much fun doing it! I found Rowyn’s romper -that matched perfectly- at Once Upon A Child for $3!

Another day in the Jungle
Yes, we have A LOT of leopard print! These sweaters are another Beau Hudson find and if you live in Saskatoon you can usually find them at Cravings as well. Our hair clips are made locally by The Hair Clip Gurl and we LOVE her products. I’ll link her website here; you can also find her at Joyne Marketplace. Lastly, our scarves are made by our favorite local shop Foreverly Yours!
cutie in a cardi
These cardigans are from Beau Hudson and are identical to the red ones we posted a few weeks ago -if you like it, buy it in every color! Our scarves are the softest bamboo material and were made locally by Erin at ForEverly Yours.
We both found our jeans second-hand at OUAC (orginally Gap) and Plato’s Closet (originally Zara).
My little love
We found these sweet sweaters for Valentine’s Day at Posh & Cozy, a local business in Lloydminster. These are so soft and currently on sale!
I also purchased a few other sale items for Rowyn, they are adorable and amazing quality! I highly recommend this company if you’re looking to find gifts for your littles.
Welcome to the jungle!
These leopard print sweaters are a fan favorite! We always get asked about them whenever we wear them out. I found these online at Beau Hudson but Cravings here in Saskatoon usually has them in stock. These are very versatile and look cute with jeans, leggings, shorts, sweats and most importantly, pairs well with the mom bun.
Shervens in Sherpa
We jumped on the sherpa jacket train and it’s been a cozy ride. We found these jackets at Old Navy. Mine is a heavier jacket while Rowyn’s is more of a sweater feel. Rowyn’s is currently sold out but I will link a similar one here. Row’s boots are from A Children’s Place (but I found them at Once Upon a Child!) and I purchased mine from Marshalls. Aaaaand of course our local item in this ensemble is our Emma and April beanie!
Little Red <3
These cardigans are a comfy favorite! We found them online at Beau Hudson, a sweet family run company out of Australia. Everything they make has a matching size for your mini -so naturally, I’m obsessed! They carry things for all genders and all ages.
Rowyn’s bow is from Prairie Princess Bows, made right here in Saskatoon. My headband is from the wonderful Foreverly Yours, I have it in almost every color and they really come in handy when I don’t feel like washing my hair (which is more often than I’d like to admit!).
Winter Accessories!
Our winter accessories (beanies and snap scarves) were all purchased from Emma and April, a local shop in Lloydminster. Terri makes quality items and is our go-to shop for matching beanies! She has a great variety for both genders, as well as many gender neutral options.
Joy to the World!
These are my favorite Christmas sweaters! Super cozy and hides anything Rowyn drops/spills -it’s fantastic! We got these from our favorite local shop, Foreverly Yours. Use our discount code ERIKA15 to purchase your own and save! I’ll link the sweaters here.
pretty in plaid
This was an easy twin outfit to piece together. I love wearing the Super High Rise Lulu Leggings (these are life changing and have ruined me for other pants) and crop tops (#basic), plus I own an excessive amount of plaid. Rowyn already had black leggings and I found her a black top and red plaid sweater for a total of $6 at Once Upon a Child. Boom, frugal twinning.
Lovin’ the leopard
Another easy twinning hack is leopard print. Leopard print, “so hot right now”. I bought this tank top for myself at Reitmans for $12.99 on sale. Rowyn’s dress was another Once Upon a Child $4 find. If I can’t shop local I like to shop secondhand.
Denim and pink
I loved this summer outfit! Denim, grey and pink made for a pretty, casual look. My jacket was a Plato’s Closet find I stole from my sister, and “Cinch It” dress from Lululemon. (They don’t have the grey in stock right now but I have linked it in another color.) I also have this dress in black and it is so flattering. I wear a size 6.
Rowyn’s matching leggings were from Carter’s and her denim jacket is from the Gap.
But my favorite part of this look are our Foreverly Yours headbands!
Cute and casual
This was our go to outfits for early spring and fall when the days were colder. My Scuba sweater and leggings are from Lulu Lemon and Adidas runners purchased from Sport Check. Rowyn’s sweater is from Carter’s and matched my Lulu Scuba perfectly. Her leggings were from A Children’s place and her runners were an Amazon find and way cheaper than buying actual adidas aka $8 instead of $50.
I love to find matching outfits to coordinate with Rowyn. I remember as a little girl matching with my Mama and I was SO excited I looked like her. Now, I get to relive that with my own mini. I get asked all the time where we get our matching outfits so I thought I would dedicate a page just for this! I will link the items that are still available or have something very similar. A few of my favorite small local shops that make matching outfits are Foreverly Yours and Emma and April.
